Chocolate Kisses - From Lisa
1 c butter
1/3 c white sugar
1/3 c dark brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 12 oz bag mini chocolate chips or 1 9 oz bag dark chocolate candy (hersey's kisses or dove chocolate works well)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt.
Here's where the choice comes in:
Choice A: Mix in chocolate chips and form into 1 tsp side balls
Choice B: Place 1 tsp dough around chocolate kisses and shape into balls
Place on greased or parchment paper cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes. Cookies will set, but will not spread.
